A drama set in 1989 about a high school student who's in love with a bus driver Wang Yoo Mi, who has similar looks to Wang Jo Hyun, a beautiful Chinese actress of the 1980s.

While awaiting the publication of his fairytale about his dementia-stricken octogenarian mother, an acclaimed South Korean novelist receives news that she has passed away, so he leaves the city and returns to her village to take part in the funeral.

While working at various events, an unknown MC named Kyung-man and his younger sister, Kyung-mi, are taking care of their father, who has been hospitalized for a long time. When he suddenly dies, there is no time to be sad and Kyung-man faces the tough reality of having no money for his father’s funeral. To cover the funeral expenses, Kyung-man secretly goes to the province to work at a birthday party but is gets caught up in an unexpected disturbance there.

17 years old Lina goes to the Arvika Festival with her boyfriend Calle despite that her mother forbade her. At the festival she meets the singer Marc and they start to like each other but things are getting difficult.

A senior police constable is found murdered at the police station during a brief power cut. Investigating officer Arjun takes the task of unmasking the killer from a handful of suspects including half a dozen cops and a number of outsiders who are there for various reasons.

Nandini, an ultra-modern girl comes to the village and attracts Venkatesha, who is prepared to do anything for pleasing the girl. Both Venkatesha and Sathish follow Nandini to Mysore, where she is pursuing studies. A strict principal of the college humiliates Nandini when she crosses the limits. Meanwhile, the principal gets murdered and a police officer suspects Venkatesha and Nandini to be behind this murder. There is a lot of confusion when it is revealed that Nandini is the daughter of a Dubai-based don, who is trying to kill a Mangalore-based don. What happens in the end is revealed in an interesting climax.
